Dear Caroline,

I finished my en-of-year exams with very high qualifications!

I'm very happy because my parents said that if I had good marks I will be travelling alone arround the world, alone! I'm so excited I now exactly what I'm gona do, I will stay with you for two weeks, just the time you asked.

My year had been very difficult so I will let the dramas of the year just float away.

I need money for travell, my parents will pay half of the trip, so this month I have to work hard for have a lot of money, I will work in Burberry clothes shop, I'm waiting impatiently Monday, I want start working!

I'm expecting a letter of my boyfriend saying if he will be travelling with me arround the world, I'm very happy with he, and you with your mate?

My parents will be travelling arround Africa, they are going to spend her summer teaching African childrens, I will stay half August, if you wanna come, just tell me, don't hesitate, please just call and say to me!

I'm really happy hearing you. I'm having a really good time here in New York and I'll stay here until August. Have ou ever been in New York? I have really good time, and the sun shines every day, and for doing sport is very good, overcoat for playing football and basketball. I've just finished my homework I had a lot and I didn't have a lot of time for doing htings like relaxing and all that. When I return to Spain we can met, no? You tell me.

Dear Chloe,

My vacations are starting in a week! I’m looking forward to finish school because I’m going to Rome. I leave the 27^th of June and I’ll stay there for three weeks. I was planning to travel to Washington but I heard that Rome is a wonderful city and finally I changed my plans. I will write and explain you how is all what I’m going to see.

The rest of the summer I’ll stay at Barcelona and I’ve finished my homework, so we can meet. We can also go to the beach and talk about how has been our summer. I’ll write you from Italy, lots of love, Laura.

Ex 8

Dear Chloe,

I already know what I'm going to do this summer, because I've been planning it since winter and I'll try to have a lot of fun.

In July, I will go to Brasil. I've rent an amazing house near the beach! By the time I stay there, I'll join a football street championship to learn more about football, because in Brasil you find amazing football players in which you can lear a lot from them.

By the month of August I will stay in Andorra near the mountain. I will also rent a motorbike to ride across the woods with my father.

Finally, onwards, I'll stay in Barcelona.

Dear Peter,

I read your letter, and I feel very happy, because I will have an incredible summer holidays, in Romania. I’ll stay there for 2 weeks more or less, and I’m very nervous. I’m going to visit all the typical museums and also I’m going to taste the most popular gastronomy of this amazing country. We’ll have a tour around the city by bus, like here, in Barcelona, in the tour we will see all the important monuments of the city. The rest of my summer holidays I’ll stay at home.

Ex 8, page 19

Dear Jan,

I’ve just finished my end-of-year exams, and I’m going to Italy! I need a good rest. I’m going to be there for two weeks, and after Italy I will go to Washington one week.
After this three weeks of doing nothing I will be one week in an academy doing my summer homework in the morning and in the afternoons I will go to a surf academy! It’s going to be so cool!
And after this week of studying I will go to Ireland to visit my grandparents and I’ll stay with them for two more weeks. I’m going to have such a great time with all my family!

Cambridge ex 8 pg 19

Hi Chloe,
Actually, I don't know what will I do this summer. Probably I'll travel to Asia, but it's not sure. I'd like to spend time with my friends and play Call of Duty with them, but I would also like to go a few weeks to a tennis stage so I practise sport. There's many things I'd like to do, but so few I can do. Anyway, we can meet this summer so we do things together and we get fun, ok?
